Schaun Goodeve MES, RPP, MCIP
As an accomplished Economic Developer and Registered Professional Planner, Schaun is dedicated to fostering community growth. His track record of success in land development and business attraction and retention has earned him prestigious awards. Proud of his Métis heritage, he is currently in the process of becoming a member of the BC Métis Association.
Schaun embodies a hands-on work ethic, coupled with a strategic mindset for accomplishing comprehensive planning goals. With over two decades of proven leadership in both international and domestic settings, he specializes in rural community development, planning, and tourism.
In collaboration with businesses and communities, Schaun has successfully facilitated transactions for various projects, including commercial, retail, light industrial, and mixed-use developments.
Beyond his professional achievements, Schaun actively engages in volunteer work, showcasing his commitment to community development.
His leadership volunteer roles include serving as a past Director of the Economic Developers of Alberta, past Chair of the Greater Edmonton Economic Development Team, Past President of the Kimberley Chamber of Commerce, and past Director and Chair of Tourism Kimberley (DMO). Additionally, he is the Founding Chair of the Kimberley Downtown Business Association, among other notable contributions.
